NYC: Location Sketching

I like to take my sketchbook with me on all trips. These were started on location then finished later. Tombow pens and Waterbrush on Strathmore watercolor pad.

Central Park. I have painted this bridge every time I am in NYC. I was born in NYC and both of my parents were artists and also painted this bridge. I guess it is a family tradition.

Hudson Yards. It started to rain so I had to finish later.

the trip ended too soon. Hope to make it a yearly trip

Just got back from attending the CSA (Costume Society of America) Annual Symposium.

Stayed with some cousins outside of downtown.  Fabulous view of the hills and the Vegas Strip.

The one to the  left is a  view off the Strip from the Tropicana Hotel.

These sketches are with Tombow Pen and Waterbrush on a small sketchpad.
